We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to fill 1 part time position our team. You will need:

A valid driver's license
A good driver's abstract
Strong attention to detail
Physically able and willing to lift 50lbs
Self Motivated
Ability to use computers
Strong organizational skills
Customer service and communication skills
To assist in putting stock away and pulling orders
Willing to learn
Comfortable with highway driving
Willing and able to drive to Langley for various warehouse pick-ups
Able to drive different sized vehicles including 3/4 ton van

Must be available to work weekends Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays.

Fortin's is a local, family owned business that has been part of the community since 1946. We supply automotive/industrial products, have a machine shop at our Airport Road location, and are a part of Home Hardware.

Fortin's currently has stores in Chilliwack, Vedder, Abbotsford, and Hope.

We are currently seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual to fill a part-time possible full-time junior inside sales position, must be able to work weekends and holidays.

We will train, experience not necessary!

Small Engine Technician

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to fill a Part Time/Full Time position on our team.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Experience as small engine mechanic or similar mechanical experience
Trade certification or equivalent education in small engines
Experience with 2 cycle, 4 cycle engines
Experience with hydraulic hoses, fittings and adapters
Class 5 driver’s license, reliable transportation
Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Physically able to lift >50lbs
Available to work Saturdays

Responsibilities:

Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of outdoor power equipment such as lawn mowers, chainsaws, pumps and generators
Build hydraulic hose assembly
Order appropriate parts and supplies to expedite repair process
Complete and create work order
Accurately read part diagrams
Professional communication with clients
Assist in housekeeping duties in the office, yard and shop as required
Assist with shipping and receiving materials as required
Using forklift to offload and load shipments as required (Training Provided)
