Our History
The idea for Fortins originated during World War 2. While in Europe my Grandpa wrote letters home to his dad (my Great-Grandpa) sharing ideas of starting a business together. They opened Fortins in 1946. Although our business looks a lot different today, I believe our core remains the same. Our core is our team and what we do to help our customers. I have heard stories of my great-grandpa, our machinist, going into fields to repair water pumps because they had a problem that needed solving. I feel we still have that mindset today. We will work to solve our customers' problems.

"The Fortin's Team built my 406 small block for my pro-street 62 Acadian. I was impressed by the level of professionalism. Norm Wilson (a true enthusiast); if he's not at the shop he's there helping out at Mission Raceway. Fortin's kept my engine build on time and on budget through great communication and keeping me updated on the progress. This was a fun experience and highly recommend them for complete engine build ups or for further development on your existing engine."
